Andy is a senior-level financial recruiter with well over 25 years’ experience, primarily across the London, Home Counties and wider UK markets. He has gained a particularly strong track record in recruiting qualified accountants (from newly qualified up to Financial Director / CFO level) into permanent roles across various sectors across commerce and financial services. His additional experience in temporary recruitment and key account management has helped foster a diverse, loyal and significant network as a result.
He has helped several private equity backed businesses build out their finance teams and, since joining Cedar, has made multiple hires for Howden Group Holdings (General Atlantic, CDPQ & Hg) and Virtus Data Centres (MacQuarie, ST Telemedia) in addition to effecting several other CFO / FD and senior finance placements with smaller, scaling businesses.
Prior to his recruitment career, Andy undertook 3 years of accountancy study enabling him to offer real, practical, and honest advice.
Aside from work and family (wife, 2 kids, cat), Andy is a keen sportsman and enjoys football, rugby league, cricket, golf and racket sports. He is also a qualified football referee, a keen cyclist, solver of 1000 piece jigsaws and the proud owner of a Countdown winner’s teapot.
